Gratitude The Magic!
"Gratitude unlocks the Abundance of Life."
It turns what we have into enough and more! It turns denial into Acceptance, chaos into Order, confusion into Clarity. Gratitude can turn a meal into a Banquet, a home in a Home, a stranger into a Friend.
Gratitude gives meaning to our past, brings Peace to today and creates a Vision for tomorrow.
You can never create prosperity by talking or thinking about your lack of money. This is wasted thinking and cannot bring you abundance. Dwelling on lack only creates more lack. Poverty thinking brings more poverty. Gratitude thinking brings abundance. - Louise Hay -
WHAT IS GRATITUDE
WHAT IS NOT GRATITUDE
It is very easy, both for those who receive and those who do good, to think that "feeling gratitude" is the same as "feeling indebted" to the other. Feeling that you should be grateful to someone is much more a restricted obligation (real or imagined) for the beneficiary to reward the benefactor in some way, not because rewarding is a pleasure, but because the obligation is a pain - a debt, in fact. Unlike "thank you", "obligation" can lead the recipient to avoid and even resent their benefactor. In contrast, the beneficiary's ingratitude is painful because it denies the efforts and sacrifices of the beneficiary, which is an affront [...]
HOW TO EXPERIENCE GRATITUDE
Gratitude is experienced if the benefit that is given or received is unexpected or if the one who benefits has a higher social position than the one who receives (God, a teacher, a grandmother, a famous idol). If a benefit is expected, he and the beneficiary tend to be seen as "already guaranteed" by the beneficiary - something that happens a lot in strained relationships. In the case of spirituality, in paying homage to something that is outside of us, gratitude allows us to connect with something that is not only greater than ourselves, but which is also essentially good and reliable.
WHAT IS GRATITUDE FOR?
Gratitude awakens us to the miracle that is life, something to be admired, recognized and celebrated, rather than ignored or taken for granted - because it is not. It encourages and strengthens the development of our ability to appreciate, tranquility, awareness, enthusiasm and empathy, while weakening painful emotions such as those of anxiety, disappointment, loneliness, regret and even envy - which are completely incompatible with gratitude. All of this happens because it opens up a better and broader view of things, shifting our focus from what we lack or what we want to what we already have and everything we give. In other words, not just living in yourself - which is what makes everything possible. As we turn outward, gratitude allows us to live not only for ourselves, but to live in a broad sense.
One Single Word changes everything - GRATITUDE!
Gratitude gives life meaning!
